Prepare your photo for a Roadster video

Vertical launch replaces the car and needs a clear vehicle photo. The other three templates replace a face and need a clear portrait.

Give it a clear view.

  • For a car swap, show one complete car with its shape and details visible.
  • For a face swap, use one front-facing person with the face unobstructed.
  • Choose even lighting and keep the subject sharp and fully in frame.
  • Use a photo you have permission to upload.

Keep these out of frame.

  • Photos with several cars or people to choose from.
  • Cropped or obscured cars, covered faces, and heavy filters.
  • Very dark, blurry, or heavily compressed images.
  • Extremely narrow crops or stretched photos.

The useful details.

File requirements. JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF, up to 20 MB. Both edges must be 300 to 6,000 pixels, with a width-to-height ratio between 0.4 and 2.5.

Local previews. Selecting a photo only previews it on your device. Files are uploaded when you submit an available generation, after signing in.

After generation. My creations holds your progress and finished videos. Check the result before sharing. If delivery needs another attempt, retry finishing from the same task without another generation charge.
